European Works Council software for multinational employers

Graylark LRM is purpose-built EWC software: one platform to run your European Works Council end-to-end — the agreement, the meetings, the information and consultation processes, the opinions and responses, and the evidence that it all happened properly.

Built for the HR, employee relations and legal teams of multinational organisations — not adapted from project management or HR case tools.

Running an EWC on spreadsheets doesn’t scale

  • Which obligations in our EWC agreement are we actually tracking, and who owns each one?

  • When were representatives informed, what were they given, and when did consultation start?

  • What opinion did the EWC issue, and how did management respond — with what reasoning?

  • Can we show a complete, dated record if the process is challenged?

What Graylark LRM covers

EWC agreement management

Your EWC agreement, subsidiary requirements and related company-level agreements in one place, with version history and key-date tracking — so the obligations you operate under are visible, not buried in a PDF.

Plenary and select committee meetings

Schedule plenaries and select committee meetings, manage agendas and papers, and keep every meeting’s record connected to the processes it belongs to.

Information & consultation workflows

Structured workflows for transnational information and consultation: milestones, deadlines, tasks and ownership across HR, Legal and the business.

Opinions and management responses

Record EWC opinions and track management’s reasoned response to each one — the exchange at the heart of consultation, and the first thing scrutinised when a process is challenged.

Compliance reviews and timeline reporting

Generate compliance reviews and EWC-specific timelines that show what happened, when, and who was involved — a defensible audit trail produced from the record, not reconstructed after the fact.

AI assistance and multilingual by design

GrAI, Graylark’s AI layer, helps teams understand agreements and surface insights across your employee-relations landscape — in a platform that supports English, German, French and Spanish, with every client in an isolated, EU-hosted tenant.

The recast directive raises the stakes

Directive (EU) 2025/2450 — in force since 31 December 2025, with transposition due by 1 January 2028 — ends pre-1996 “Article 14” exemptions, broadens what counts as a transnational matter, requires reasoned written responses to EWC opinions, obliges employers to fund experts and training, and backs it all with dissuasive penalties. Graylark LRM gives you the structured record the recast era assumes you have.
