Labour relations management software

Labour relations is the part of HR that generic software has never modelled properly. Graylark was built for it, and only for it.

Why the category needed its own tool

Ask an employee relations team what they manage and the answer is not a list of employees. It is a network of works councils, trade unions, European Works Councils, collective agreements, consultation processes and commitments made in rooms years ago that still bind the company today.

None of that fits a case management system. It has no natural home in an HRIS. So it ends up in spreadsheets, shared drives and the memory of whoever has been there longest, which is a governance risk long before it becomes an operational one.

Labour relations management, sometimes called employee relations or industrial relations depending on where you sit, is a distinct discipline. It deserves a system that models representation rather than headcount.

What is in the platform

ER Landscape. A live map of the representation landscape: bodies, entities, sites and agreements, with interactive geomaps, FreshScore data currency tracking, version tracking and expiry alerts on agreements.

Change Proposals. Multi-country information and consultation on organisational change, with country-specific obligations, automatic agenda creation and AI-assisted summaries.

EWC Management. Meetings, membership, agendas, opinions and management responses, select committee and SNB support, budget tracking and dispute resolution, on a workflow configured to your own EWC agreement.

Change Gateway. Business intake, so change reaches employee relations early enough to be managed rather than rescued.

Graylark Elect. Works council elections, run and recorded properly.

Rep Portal. A collaboration space for employee representatives.

GrAI. Graylark’s Data Safe AI layer: agreement analysis and comparison, change insight informed by your own landscape and past changes, executive summaries and sentiment analysis, all running inside your tenant with no external AI calls and no training on your data.

Built for the scale problem

Consultation volume is rising, driven by the revised European Works Council Directive, by increasingly divergent national regimes, and by the pace of technology and AI change inside businesses. Employee relations teams are not growing to match. Graylark exists so the function can scale without adding headcount for every new country and every new programme.

Who this is for

Multinational employers with a material European footprint, typically with works councils or a European Works Council already in place, where organisational change is continuous rather than occasional.
